Sarah has nearly 10 years of experience in real estate development with both private and non-profit developers. Her focus lies primarily in affordable housing, a domain where she has honed her expertise across diverse regions such as Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Ohio. Sarah boasts a comprehensive grasp of various funding channels, encompassing the Federal Home Loan Bank’s AHP Program, 9% LIHTC, 4% LIHTC, Baltimore City’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund, and Maryland’s Project C.O.R.E.
Sarah’s approach to real estate development is deeply collaborative. She champions a model where all stakeholders actively participate in shaping a unified vision for projects. Bridging ideological chasms, she fosters consensus and generates momentum, thereby elevating the quality of outcomes for residents, investors, and property owners alike.
She holds a Master of Real Estate Development and a Master of Community Planning from the University of Maryland College Park, as well as Bachelor degrees in American Studies & Ethnicity and Narrative Studies from the University of Southern California. Sarah is a member of the Urban Land Institute and co-chairs the Content Committee for ULI Baltimore’s Young Leaders Group. In her free time, she enjoys aerial circus classes, exploring new coffee shops, and visiting bookstores. She has two dogs and a misanthropic cat.
